Located at 307 New Shackle Island Rd, Hendersonville, TN 37075, Safari Car Wash operates as a car wash serving Hendersonville in Tennessee. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under self service car wash, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open Open 24 hours. Hendersonville is in Tennessee, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Hendersonville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Paid for the $18 dollar Wash on 4/12/26 for the touchless wash. All it did was spray water on my car. The machine was out of soap and wax. This has happened before and never said anything. I emailed this business and gave them over 24 hours to reply or call and neither happened. I will not use this car wash anymore.

I’m extremely disappointed with the condition and performance of this car wash. Every time I visit, something is either broken or not working as it should. The automatic car washes are unreliable and rarely function properly, often leaving my vehicle barely cleaner than when I arrived. The vacuum stations are just as frustratingβ€”most of the hoses are missing ends, making them practically useless. It’s clear that maintenance is being neglected. To make matters worse, there is frequently no soap or cleaning product available in the automatic washes, which defeats the entire purpose of paying for the service. The self-service bays aren’t any better, as they constantly run out of product mid-use. Overall, this place feels poorly maintained and not worth the money. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable or effective car wash. To top it all off, I have called and sent texted to express my frustration and never have anyone reach out to me with any type of solution….. the best solution would be to maintenance your equipment that makes your money and keeps your customers coming back! This is not a once in a while issue either, this is an every week problem!!!

Decent no touch carwash. 24/7 also. Had a recent part repair on my truck and can't take it to a brush wash for at least a month. Had salt for recent storm on my paint and didn't want to leave it there too long either so the touch free is a nice option. 2 touch free wash machines and a few do it yourself bays also is nice. Vacuums etc. All 24/7. Nothing spectacular but is a great option to have in town.

Self service wash bays are always broken. Can't tell until after you pay and can't get any pressure from the sprayer. No employees staff this facility so bays are left broken for days at a time, and you can't get a refund (text refund system doesn't work). $5 only gets you 4:30 of wash time. If you're looking for a good self service car wash, go to Champion Car Wash on Gallatin rd. There is an employee on site. -Owner was unresponsive upon contact.

I had to update my post on this business because there is a New Ownership. Better service now.! It's the only one I'll go to! Most people don't know that going thru a car wash can and will scratch your paint on your vehicle. It's called Micro Scratching. Plus having your mirrors knocked off.
